FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK | Lucero Ruiz, Creative Director
Team we are doing some awesome work! Keep on communicating, keep on reaching out, keep on trying new methods and effects! We are getting better each day!

Spec looked awesome as the artist brought to life our creative architects' ideas! Our amazing work does not stop there. Check out our Beyond the Lens section regarding the new BMW of Sarasota iX commercial we filmed! It took quite a few team members working together to make this one happen.

Client: Ford of Clermont
Title: Pre-Order Promise
Creative Architect: Bill Cross
Designer: Becca Bock
Editor: Dakota DeMarco
What I love about this piece is how we are pushing our creative limits and not holding back! Rebecca Bock got inspiration from Thor to create this design.
"I am the god of Thunder, Lord of the savage Lightning, the very skies must tremble when speaks The Mighty Ford" - Thor

Dakota was up for the challenge to make this into a cool spot, but awesome looks don't come easy!
"The creative for this spot threw me a curve ball since I couldn't recreate the text. I managed to pull it off using Motion Array text. Overall, it keeps your attention and focuses on customization." - Dakota DeMarco

TRAFFIC RADAR | Sara Goodfellow, Traffic Manager
Thanks to everyone who sent a response to my emails for the Creative Dash Tasks! And if you haven’t... SEND SOMETHING! I need input from everyone from all sides to make changes and updates that YOU want to see.

Something we are working on is putting important info (including logos, fonts, jellybeans, ftg, USP, AND MORE!!!) for every client, in the creative briefs tab. So that it will be easy for everyone to use and access.

THE WRITERS' ROOM | Mark Allision, Sr. Creative Architect
Copy is staying cool this summer by getting ahead! Lots of jobs for the later half of the year have been coming in plus Q4 SPEC is done! Thanks to ART and PRODUCTION for working hard with us to get another great SPEC cycle. Also special shoutout to Scott for all the traveling he has done for shoots this month! Stay tuned for more news from Copy!

THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR | Adam Anderson, Video Director
It's been a busy Q2 and as we're heading into Q3, there are changes afoot! With the initiative to better collaborate with other creative departments, the brainstorm meetings and Pre-Production spec meetings have been greatly beneficial in inspiring the Production Team to explore new ideas and techniques in their creative.

We have such an incredibly skilled team. Justin has created a modern, energetic welcome video for new hires. While waiting for our new Videographer to join us next month, Jaden and Joseph have volunteered to assist by helping on shoots. In addition to single-handedly updating our asset library system and ingesting the massive amount of footage we took this month, Emmitt has also volunteered to assist with an Affinitiv product shoot later this month. Cassie’s animation is always on point and she crushed it with the well received Crown spots, and Zack is always ready to step in when we need an extra hand. David took up the shield and led the charge with Spitzer. Kaitlyn, Fernando, and Dakota have been churning out excellent work day after day, and our intern, Ally has been a big help compiling assets to assist the team. Finally, were you able to attend Justin’s awesome audio training? His expert presentation was full of easy to digest information that will help a beginner audiophile get started and techniques that even seasoned audio producers can use. Highly recommend grabbing his suggested snack before reviewing this one! Amazing job, Sir. See With Your Ears - A Step-by-Step Radio Production Process

BEYOND THE LENS | Gina Kern, Traffic Coordinator
We have truly been looking beyond the lens this last month! Planning, organizing, directing, and communicating with team members (internal and external partners) has been a large focus for the interim film team. In addition to getting the shoots scheduled we have been reviewing processes and adjusting to increase efficiency and maximize budget costs. The best news is that on July 7th we will have a new team member joining us in Film as our new videographer!

Our BMW Lifestyle shoot in May was a huge success with an exceptional crew and a talented family - and a sharp vehicle, of course! Check out our final spot! It‘s a great commercial. Here’s what our client had to say:

“It has a very luxurious feel. Big props to Affinitiv Advertising! It exceeded my expectations” Christina Schwendeman, Chief Marketing Officer, Morgan Auto Group

ALL ABOUT THAT ART LIFE | Laura Pennisi, Senior Graphic Designer
Things have been going great in the art department these past few weeks. With new and returning faces on the team, I think everyone really knocked it out of the park with the quarterly spec work! The new collaborative meetings with copy and production have really helped to create some great ideas. On the day to day, tasks and workloads have been going relatively smooth thanks to everyone’s hard work

THE DIGITAL PERSPECTIVE | Jeff Roskow, Project Manager
This has been a pretty smooth-running month for the Art and Code team. Both teams have been working hard to keep things on time as we roll into July 4th incentives on top normal work. As mentioned above there is also some good work and ideas coming to life in the client briefs to bring everyone a nice location to find those common files requested often. Art is also working on little more detailed training pages in A-net to help bring some more help and resources to past agency and department trainings.
