Gebhardt BMW is providing this information to make all our valued clients aware of changes the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles is making to help contain and reduce the threat represented by COVID-19.
Beginning immediately, all business with the DMV is being conducted online.
If you or someone you know needs to renew their registration, apply for license plates, receive a disabled placard or other business, you will need to do so at a DMV website.
DMV locations are supervised by the state but operate locally. Bolder County residents should visit: www.bouldercounty.org/records/motor-vehicle/. If you live outside Boulder County or are unsure which website you should use, visit: www.colorado.gov/dmv for more information.
These closures are temporary and have been made in response to current public health concerns. During this time, the State of Colorado Department of Revenue is granting counties permission to waive late fees for registration and renewals for 30 days while the Governor's State of Emergency declaration is in effect.
We're all is this together. Rest assured that Gebhardt BMW will make every effort to keep you informed if there are any additional changes affecting your transportation.
We appreciate your business. Stay safe.
