Did you know one of our VO talent, Jenna Brimingham, won a 2022 One Voice Award as Best Automotive Commercial - Female, beating out many thousands of submissions! An award like this is multilayered as the message being read had to be inspiring. Audio design also played a critical role as the music and sound effects enhanced and complemented the overall tone and messaging. All in all, amazing job Mark Allison, Bill Cross and Justin Eaton!

NMI – Need More Info Button
Creative depts will use this button when they do not have everything they need to produce your asset. This can be anything from a missing pickup to a creative. When the button is hit, the creative will note what they need from A/S. A/S will get a notification and need to update as needed, then hit the button Info Submitted. A pop up will appear for A/S to note what they have changed and it will be auto assigned back to the creative. A/S: check for these and get them back ASAP so we can continue on your timeline. If we don’t get it back until the following day(s) - your project will be delayed.

THE WRITERS' ROOM | by Bill Cross, Senior Creative Architect
The Copy Department first wants to thank the graphic designers and our production team for truly outstanding job they did bringing our Q4 SPEC copy to life! You guys continue to make us look good. Now that the copywriters have finished celebrating Black Friday & Christmas, we’re turning our attention to New Year’s, Presidents Day & March Madness as we prepare Q1 SPEC material for 2023. At the same time, we’ve also been called on to create a never-ending stream of Grand Opening copy as several of our clients (Morgan, Spitzer & others) continue to expand into new markets and new stores.

Also, a shout out to Sara for her tireless efforts to keep the workflow manageable. We love, Sara!

THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR | by Dakota DeMarco, Production Creative Lead
The production team has been focused on creating Q4 Spec. Our production team members delivered. Most of us went outside our comfort zone and tried new techniques! Overall, the work looked amazing, and we are proud to have been able to showcase it to our Account Service team.

This time around, I was reminded about the importance of having FUN while working on spec. I was assigned the Black Friday Luxury and there has been this song sitting in my library for some time. I needed it in a spot. I obsessed over this song listening to it over and over waiting for an excuse to use it. With a song like that, I knew we couldn't have a voiceover and Harriet so kindly gave me the approval. I imagined an Orchestra and the lowerthird was the conductor. I had a great time making this spec. Hopefully a client picks it up and I can make it better.

BEYOND THE LENS | by Anthony Hernandez, Videographer
Hi Team! These last few weeks have been filled with so much energy and creativity. We have many talented people here who are passionate and devoted to their craft. When it comes to camera work, the team is taking the steps to revamping shots and techniques so we can push the envelope from a production stance. This is great news as we continue to strive for quality and success internally!

First up we had a training b-roll shoot at South VW, next we went to BMW of Wesley Chapel to capture amazing footage of their new dealership! Wow what an experience to see their multilevel dealership.

Overall, we are looking forward to showing our progression as we continue to get more experience on the field.

ALL ABOUT THAT ART LIFE | by Nick Donato, Senior Graphic Designer
This is the best team I have ever worked with, and each month all of you continue to show me that.

We’re working ahead on most jobs, we not only completed all spec tasks and revisions, but everyone pushed their skills and creativity to the next level! The spots came out great and I am glad to see everyone has a chance to offer critiques and praise for one another’s work.

I’ve seen everyone helping one another out, taking initiatives and showing a willingness to learn and challenge themselves creatively. I am very proud and inspired by this team and cannot wait to see what future art everyone creates, especially the Wecycle project and hopefully many more charitable projects like it to come. Thank you everyone and may the Force be with you!

THE DIGITAL PERSPECTIVE | by Jeff Roskow, Project Manager
It's been an eventful month with several special campaign projects, SPEC (which came out amazing!), a few custom one-off projects, and more. With all this, I take my hat off to these amazing teams in Art and Code for keeping up and everything stayed moving with little to no projects falling behind all month! Many curve balls were thrown in the mix as well, but everyone came together and helped out to ensure no weight fell heavy on few! This also goes out to Copy and Production teams for all the great collaboration work in the SPEC success! Truly powerful teams we have across the creative fields and the teamwork is unmatched. I’d have to say I’m already looking forward to seeing what the next round holds 😃
