FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK | by Lucero Ruiz, Creative Director
We are back and better than ever. Watch out Q4, we have been preparing for you! Teams, keep on doing what you do best: amazing work. We are almost at the end of the year and wow! Have you thought about all the work we’ve put in this year so far? We have made huge strides in our spec process. Our day-to-day work continues to get better! All THANKS to the hard work and dedication of our talented associates. Couldn’t do it without you!!
Creative Highlights
Crown Award Intro Gif
Client: Crown Nissan
Motion Graphic Artist: Fernando Perdomo
It’s the details and small things that make a huge difference! Fernando’s ability to showcase the crown on intro and ability to make this GIF looks like an award gala. Great job!!
New WeCycle Logo
Client: WeCycle Atlanta
Designer: Nick Donato
Creative Architect: Bill Cross
We have officially partnered with a non-profit organization to help with their advertising needs. Our first task was to create a logo. Several designers joined forces and we were able to provide a wide selection of logos to choose from, they were fantastic! The chosen logo was designed by Nick Donato. Bill Cross has started to write brand guidelines and a homepage copy for WeCycle’s website.

TRAFFIC RADAR | by Gina Kern, Traffic Coordinator
Pshew! That was a wild ride, but we now have our entire Traffic team back in the house - AND we are better than ever with the addition of Mindy Kovco. Mindy is currently working mostly with the Copy Department and helping Jeff with Art rushes. Traffic is heading full steam into Q4 and will be working toward consistency across the way we work with all of the departments. This will allow us to step in easily when a team member is out. Expect some great things in 2023!

THE WRITERS' ROOM | by Bill Cross, Senior Creative Architect
With Black Friday approaching fast and end-of-the-year sales events right after that, the copy team is in the midst of our “busy season”. At the same time that we’re writing about Christmas and cold weather, we’re also getting ready for the Summer of ’23 as we put together our SPEC ideas for next year’s Q2 (April-May-June).

Thank goodness help has arrived in the form of the newest member of our copy team – Kyle Hurley. Kyle is a recent Creative Writing graduate from Full Sail University in Orlando, who's excited to finally stretch his creative muscles in the glitzy, glamourous world of automotive advertising (don’t spoil his illusions). Make sure you introduce yourself to Kyle.

Rumor has it, we’ll also be welcoming another copywriter, who’s capable of producing Spanish language copy! Lis Casanova will be coming onboard Thanksgiving week. We hope everyone will make her welcome.

THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR | by Adam Anderson, Video Director
Nearing the end of the year and wrapping up Q4! The team is on track to finishing our goals for this year and we are excited to see a lot of the spec from this round being used.

Production has put together a lot of training this last quarter. Be sure to check it out on A-Net if you didn't have a chance to attend our training sessions.

We are excited for some new and different work coming down the pipeline. We are loving the teamwork that is growing in our department and between departments: Jaden is training with the new copywriters and Kaitlyn has been working with Art.

Lastly, a warm thank you to Anthony and Emmitt, who met up at the office to help clean out the production department space for moving. You helped make the process quicker and more enjoyable.

Let's finish this quarter strong and look ahead to bigger, better things next year!

BEYOND THE LENS | by Anthony Hernandez, Videographer
As we approach the end of Q4, I would like to say that it has been amazing to see everything that we have accomplished. Whether it be the account team, editors, writers, or other departments, our teams have shown a strong ability to be ready & pivot to keep things moving. There has been a great level of work and detail put into our shoots with Lake CDJR, Brandon Honda, Sun Toyota, Spitzer & many more. The final results will speak for themselves, so keep an eye out for those videos! Also, I would like to shed some light on a few team players that have helped keep the momentum going with shoots we had throughout Florida and Ohio! Adam Anderson, Jaden Durity, & Joseph Woods have been able to step up to the plate and assist with last-minute changes or help needed in the field. Whether it's drone piloting, green screen set-ups, or communicating with talents, they have been able to flex their creative instincts and keep us moving! Stay creative everyone!

ALL ABOUT THAT ART LIFE | by Nick Donato, Senior Graphic Designer
Q4 is upon us and even with Hurricane Ian throwing us curve balls and our usual work load this time of year increasing, we’re still kicking butt! We’ve got one of the best teams, and I am happy and thankful to work with all of you. I’ve seen each of you step up this quarter especially when I was out. The Morgan Newsletter is a hefty beast that Sarah took on and vanquished. Meghan took on the bulk of Morgan jobs while I was out, keeping things going and all of us pitched in to stay late and help one another with rushes. This is a dang good team, but Q4 is not over yet. I am confident we will continue to stay on target and have many more laughs along the way. May the Force be with you all!
